INTRODUCTION
Capacity Building and Infrastructure Organization of Afghanistan (CBIOA) is an NGO that was
established in Kabul city within Afghanistan on 2015. CBIOA emerged from Narsees NGO. The
reason for Narsees to establish CBIOA was due to the constant internal conflicts and warlord fights
that made it impossible for Narsees to continue its operations in the region. Therefore, Narsees
decided to hand over its ongoing projects to CBIOA for the betterment of the community in all over
Afghanistan

Sustainable Development for Vulnerable Communities by CBIOA
CBIOA’s approach to development is based on the principle of sustainable development, which aims
to improve the quality of life of the community while preserving the environment for future
generations. CBIOA has been working tirelessly to promote sustainable development in Afghanistan,
focusing on areas such as education, health, agriculture, and humanitarian development.
Capacity Building and Infrastructure Organization of Afghanistan (CBIOA) is a national NGO, was
founded in August 2015 in Kabul Afghanistan, as a capacity building, humanitarian and development
organization by local Afghan intellectuals and Diaspora Afghan community members. The purpose
is to provide sustainable livelihoods intervention opportunities to support the most vulnerable
communities both in the urban and rural areas of Afghanistan consequently will have access to better
education, adequate primary health care, and employment opportunities, respect the ideals of human
rights, peace, good-governance and eventually improved sustainable community development. The
organization is registered under the Afghanistan Economy Ministry.

COMMUNITY-DEVELOPMENT:
In today's rapidly changing world, community development faces new challenges that require innovative solutions. Capacity Building and Infrastructure Organization of Afghanistan (CBIOA) recognizes this and has adapted its approach to meet the current needs of the communities it serves. CBIOA's focus on community development includes professional training in vocational training activities and project management, as well as protecting small business through the use of PAT. CBIOA also conducts surveys and supervises projects, provides training and has equipment to support its work.
CBIOA has invested in the professional development of its staff, many of whom have been trained in development and environmental activities by respected consulting organizations. CBIOA provides opportunities for staff to enhance their skills through specialization services and attending different training programs in areas such as rural road designing, vocational development strategies, alternative livelihood programs, NGO management, and organizational development. CBIOA's management team has presented abstracts on issues at national and international conferences, workshops, seminars, and symposiums.
